Kiyv improved a lot with the English signs, you know, like streets, metro directions, you know, subway directions, after 2012 when they had a European football championship. So the whole of Kiyv got updated, all the street signs, everything, which has really helped. When my husband came and he was in the metro, he just read it in English. And in the metro, on the train, they also speak a lot, announce the next stop in English... broken English, and it's hard to understand. But if you hear him, and read it on the sign, you know where you need to get off. Which, I think is a huge improvement.
