Bureaucracy in the Dominican Republic, there is a lot.  But mostly the bureaucracy is the type that's you have to sometimes pay somebody off to get something done or help you get through the system. So even though there is bureaucracy, it can be managed. But mostly it involves paying somebody a fee to get something done.

People rely a lot on connections in the Dominican Republic to get a lot of things done, to get things done faster or more efficiently.
