What's striking about the landscape and the people of Tajikistan; first of all the landscape is just absolutely beautiful. I mean, as soon as you step off the plane in Dushanbe, the capital, you notice that all around you in all directions are huge snowcapped mountains. And it's a very remote area of the world, even under the Soviet times, they considered Tajikistan to kind of be the ends of the earth. And so, geographically it's very awe-striking how beautiful and just how untouched the countryside [is].
