When we arrived, there was absolutely no roads, there's no water, no electricity. The nearest improved structure dirt road was actually in Afghanistan, not Turkmenistan. So we saw no signs of any type of infrastructure, building, water sources, dams. However, the three gentlemen that we did meet had access to the ability to grow cotton. They brought us fresh fruit so somewhere within the region we were at there's the ability to irrigate, farm, and live a normal life.
