"I didn’t deal with a lot of [Kurds], but the ones that were in Baqubah at the capital, they really tried not to let people know they were Kurdish. There was a couple of government officials and we knew he was Kurdish. The one thing I really liked about the Kurdish people that I dealt with was they didn’t consider themselves Sunni or Shia. They considered themselves Kurdish."
