“I really didn’t feel or sense any negative, or, ‘Why are they here?’ or for the U.S. forces being in UAE. The way I kind of felt it for, at least for the group I was working with, for the 18th and 10th Aviation group, was that they were excited that we were there. ‘Cause I guess it gave them something a little bit different in their day-to-day training cycle, and it kind of gave them a little bit of attention, ‘Hey, we get to work with the partnered U.S. forces.’”
