Travel and Transportation in Haiti

The first time I went down there I thought it was really strange to see these brightly colored, painted vans and dilapidated school buses and things. And it's sad to see but they pile them in. It's like a circus car except you can actually see all the people on the outside hanging on trying to get to their... And it's so bad, they weigh the vehicle down. But they would get on those, and I guess they all have designated paths like buses do here [in the U.S.]. And then you just let them know when you're getting off, and you get off when you pay your fare.
