“If you are there for business, it doesn’t look right that you are grown up enough to do business and you are not married. If you are not married, you are not mature yet; therefore you have no business doing business. So, it wouldn’t be bad to tell a white lie that you are married, because if you are married it makes you look good, it makes you look more responsible. And then they will listen. If you are not married, they say, “OK, well, you don’t feel responsible enough to be married; you cannot take care of a family. And you wanna take care of us? How? How do you anticipate doing that? If you are not responsible enough to start your own family, how can you take care of us?”
