The purpose of this course is to provide cultural awareness and language training using gaming technologies along with other innovative methods. The VCAT Ukraine focuses on the country of the Ukraine. It provides a basic introduction to Ukranian and Russian focused on the missions of Supporting Leader Engagements, Training with Host Nation Military, and Studying Abroad in Eastern Europe. It is a web-based course on JKO that delivers a customized course of instruction which is based on the specific area of deployment and the specific area of interest selected by the user. Users are tested on their level of knowledge and must score a passing grade in order to graduate and receive their certificate of completion.
